How did you do this? Such an amazing shot and journey through this street!

@bluechameleon: I was just walking by last afternoon winter sun (which is very low) and saw the sun beaming through here. I had to position myself just right and also wait for no one or no cars..... isn't it almost magical? thanks for your comments ;-)

just stunning -- how did you do this? just spectacular!

14 Aug 2008 7:23pm

@dj.tigersprout: thanks dj. it was another moment while walking in the city with my son and daughter and the afternoon light (at this time in winter) was low and glowing. It bounces everywhere around this part of Sydney (close to Circular Quay) and my lens really handles direct sunlight very well. I think german lenses are softer and disperse the light more evenly while japanese lenses (which are f'ing brilliant) are more clinical and perhaps treat direct light more firmly... just my two cents worth mate. but even I was amazed at how the light was here this time.... I think I stood there for 10 minutes like I was watching a light show....... I'm thankful and grateful
