@bluechameleon: You are way too kind to me Blue. This was shot on the hop. We had just finished a class. He stopped the class to look at my cameras. Then we talked about him leaving Vietnam to travel and work abroad but he has responsibilities to his younger siblings. As I walked past I saw him just like this. I asked if I may take his photo and he moved away from the door, but I asked him to resume his position exactly as it was. Shooting on colour slide film is very unforgiving. I should have exposed for his white shirt, but I didn't and I am not at all worried cause sometimes a good photograph is more of a memory than a perfectly exposed or sharp image.... ok I am off my soapbox now ;-)
