red from clermont ferrand, Franceexactly the expression of children when they are divided between the desire to satisfy their curiosity and the shyness which provokes the stranger. Even the hands say it! superbe :o) 13 Sep 2008 5:23am @red: Red !!! your english is excellent !!!! and many thanks for your kind words here. You are very descriptive !! @Stovepipe: so inquisitive too ! @ocean: indeed !! Tamara from Fort Myers, FL, United StatesAdorable shy image! She is delightful! :) 13 Sep 2008 2:17pm @Tamara: yes isn't she !! ;-) thanks Tamara don from spokane, United StatesA very appealing shot of this cute little person. Fine shooting! 13 Sep 2008 2:39pm @don: many thanks again Don! gbe from kansas city, United Statesi love it. it looks like she found you even more interesting than those new shoes! 13 Sep 2008 5:35pm @gbe: good pickup there Grant ! Thanks for your comments too. Lorena from Fort Myers, United StatesThat is an adorable picture. Love the shoes! 15 Sep 2008 1:53am @Lorena: isn't she so sweet ! many thanks Lorena. DonLon from Providence, RI, United StatesWonderful shot. You really captured the subject. Did you try cropping the knee on the right? I can't decide if loosing it would have isolated the little girl too much. 15 Sep 2008 4:31pm @DonLon: many thanks DL. I usually always present the full frame scanned from my negs. There were a few images from this girl and a little boy also. Using a rangefinder camera and I wear glasses most times, sometimes I forget about what else comes into the frame. Pavla from Saint James City, United Statesamazing! Love her tiny little fingers playing with those shoes.... 16 Sep 2008 2:11pm @Pavla: thanks Pavla, isn't that typical of kids and their fingers... bluechameleon from Vancouver, CanadaSuch an amazing portrait Matt! The look on her face, it's heartbreaking somehow. 16 Sep 2008 7:23pm @bluechameleon: Yes I know what you see here Bc. She was a little girl living in such a huge world. Your natural instincts reach out to her. But her magic shoes were where it was at here. I appreciate your wonderfully kind comments as always. Thank you ! |
