@Lorena: it was wide open on a 15th second exposure, maybe less. I am really happy with how it turned out too. Good insight Lorena, she with company but there was a distant aching loneliness and longing maybe. Not judging, just sensing and feeling. . .
@Stovepipe: thanks mate. it was a moment of real emotion and awareness of another human being. I may tell this story one day later. the resulting image here has blown me away personally. what the soul sees sometimes our eyes misses. thankfully the camera recorded this perfectly.

Awesome shot! She does seem a little distressed.. I love the mood here. And the blur of the rest of the bar- seems like she is only concentrating on the phone conversation. (It looks like she's on the phone....) Everything else is merely a blur.

@Tamara: Many thanks Tamara. I really love your comments. I especially am grateful you take time to look as I know you are nearing that hugely important day in your lives soon. She was on the phone ;-) so a good pickup there. It was shot is very weak light with only lighting from above. I was luck to get it right at a low speed and wide open aperture hence the blurriness. She wasn't distressed so much as in another state of mind. I saw it as her dreaming of what could be, what she desired, and where she was now. Sometimes you may get a feeling of "I don't belong here anymore" in life. This is what I sensed in her......
@Pavla: many thanks Pavla. Yes she is a stunning girl. A natural beauty. Then again everyone has a natural beauty, their particular look, be it a profile, front-on, or whatever. I guess our gift is being able to capture someone as WE see them, then reflect back to them; sometimes with amazing outcomes ;-)
